It was prayer that sent Daniel to the lions den. Sometimes prayer will take you to places you didn’t think you would end up. Sometimes when we get serious about prayer, seeking God’s face and desperate to hear God’s voice all hell can break loose. YES things will work out in the end, probably better than what we thought BUT more often than not things can get a bit chaotic before that happens. Daniel was put in the den, a stone rolled over “so that his situation could not be changed” (Daniel 6:17). Sound familar – life can be like that and can feel like that when we embark upon a whole hearted, fired up journey of praying more.
